Just like every other weekend morning, we woke up late and had our breakfast. No office, no university, or anything, we were just having chit chats and enjoying the moments like that. Well, no matter how hot the day is, you can't stop the urge of BD people's cravings for tea. And that very tea became the reason for a severe injury.
Oh yes, you heard me right, I got injured due to a cup of tea, not actually, it's because of my carelessness that led to this.
So I was on my bed, lying and scrolling through social media and waiting for my cup of tea to be served. I don't know why or how I made the gesture to hand over the cup while I was sitting in my bed. Both of us realized the fact that it's made of boiling hot water, and the cup is too hot to hold. So when I picked, I didn't hold by the handle as it was held by her, so I had to hold by the surrounding and within a fraction of a second, I felt the severe heat in my fingers that I instantly let go. Unfortunately, it fell on the bed, due to the softness of the mattress, it jumped, and the whole liquid fell on my shoulder, my face, my hands, and whatnot. Oh yes, went through my phone as well.
I started screaming, my face was burning, my hands, my shoulders. I rushed straight to the washroom and started taking a shower. Was there for almost ten to fifteen minutes. Later, it's like, on the shoulder, a 6cm by 6cm area got burned, gone completely dark, and a few blisters. Face wasn't impacted like that, was having pain, but nothing like that. My phone's display got ruined a little bit.
Took medication, prescribed medicines, and so on to care for that. The phone is like that, the display got a mild shadowish type something, it's due to the hot liquid, which might have damaged the display, but things are ortunately that its working. In my life, this device has been the most used stuff which has been supporting me even after all the odds, hahaha.
So the thing is, whatever happened is bad; things could have been worse. That sudden mismatch in thoughts led to this. Now I'm suffering, don't know how long it will take to get healed, and what scar it leaves behind. Keep me in your prayers, and please be careful with our daily chores.
