I was walking down the street one fine morning, minding my own business as usual, when I saw a set of few familiar faces coming towards me. I could recognized them as people I knew from college, people I haven't seen in years. So I decided to stop and say hello to them.
When I suddenly tripped on my own shoelace and fell flat on the face! In front of everyone! Including my old classmate. And it wasn't just a simple trip. "why did i wear such loose laces?"l asked myself. The embarrassment was just too much. I could feel the heat of a blush rising on my cheeks. As I was about to recover, i looked up to see my old classmates doubled over with laughter. They were laughing so hard that they could barely breathe. And then, they did i never expected from them because back then in college,they were not that nice: they offered a hand to help me up. As i took their hand, i thought to myself,
"Maybe this wasn't so embarrassing after all. Maybe this is just kind of funny
As i stood up, brushing off the dirt and leaves from my clothes, I looked at my old classmates in the eye and said, "Thanks for the laugh, and also for the lending hands." And then, , they said, "No problem.
By the way, you guys look great! How have you all been?" And just like that, I started having a friendly chat with all of them.
The embarrassing moment I had became a chance to reconnect with old friends.wasn't that amazing?
I and my classmates ended up chatting for over an hour, catching up on everything that had happened. They all decided to exchange their phone numbers and stay in touch with me.l left there feeling excited and more.
