I have no control over where I go.
I go round and round everyday.
I wonder where am I going today?
I am getting hot as I speed down the paved road. I slow, as I approach bumpy pavers. A tiny pebble gets stuck that will not loosen. I splash through a puddle and water cools me as it runs down my naked body.
This is new. A different place from my usual route. I move cautiously as my journey unfolds in front of me. Suddenly, I feel a stabbing sensation piercing my skin. A slow and steady hiss of air leaves me.
Doubts begin to rise.
Am I on my last gasp or have I got more in me?
I’m getting wobbly.
No! I am flat, but I am not deflated.
I can keep going and get my owner to where he needs to be.
