This is my post for #freewriters Wednesday prompt correspondent hosted by .
The internet has taken or I guess I should say changed the way we have done things some are for the better but some are not. It is nice if you do not know something it is now so easy to look up the answer. The bad part is when you wanted to know something you asked a parent, a teacher, or someone older than you. There was the human connection. Another bad thing is the internet has taken away the art of writing letters to one another, no matter who the correspondent was there is something about sitting down and writing a heartfelt letter to someone you care about. Also the joy of receiving a letter. Granny loved to get letters she was always checking the mailbox several times a day.
I am not sure about this but I think someone told me that the schools no longer teach how to write in cursive, to me this is just crazy. It is bad enough that they no longer teach math the way we were taught to do it. That had nothing to do with correspondent or the internet, I just thought I would throw it out there.
The fish house told everyone if they fished today to be in by three, They were going to be closed until Saturday. We could not drive south, fish, and be back here by three so we did not fish today. My husband wanted fish for dinner and this is roe mullet season,
(The white roe is from the male fish the red, which is really yellow is from a female fish)
so he took his boat and castnet
and caught a bunch of mullet. He saved enough for our dinner, 12 to smoke, and gave the rest to two of his elderly friends. You can not get them any fresher than these.
