An old woman named Elara runs a small, dusty antique shop at the corner of the street. She looks kind, speaks softly, and never seems to age.
Inside the shop, the lights are always dim, and the bell above the door rings even when no one enters.
She sells strange old objects like mirrors, rings, and music boxes, but each one is cursed. Whoever buys something finds comfort for a while until their reflection fades, their laughter disappears, and they fall mysteriously ill.
Elara doesn't kill anyone on purpose. She believes she's helping them. Each object she sells takes a bit of their soul and gives her a little more life.
But when a child comes to buy something for her dying father, Elara feels something she hasn't felt in years — guilt.
Elara gives the girl her own necklace, breaking the curse and fading away as her final act of kindness.
