Just like in the classic snake game, morsels are exciting little rewards scattered along the path, waiting to be grabbed. In racing games, for example, there are fuel tanks or power-ups on the road that cars must collide with to keep going. Miss one, and you risk slowing down or running out of steam.
Morsels aren’t just food for humans—I see them as fuel for progress, whether in games or in life. They’re the checkpoints, boosts, and rewards that keep us moving. In a game, they might be extra points, power boosts, or hidden treasures. In real life, they might be small wins, like figuring out a tough anatomy concept or publishing a post on my site.
I consider them my car food. Without morsels, the journey feels empty because they are the things that bring color and motivation to the race. Collecting them gives you the thrill of achievement and the energy to keep going.
But let’s be honest, it’s not easy to earn morsels as a beginner.
At first, you might miss them or not even know they exist. But with time, skill, and awareness, you start seeing them everywhere. That is the beauty of learning and gaming alike... you level up, and so does your eye for morsels.
So, whether I’m working on my freewriting sites or designing content, I treat every task as a game, and every new idea or breakthrough as a morsel picked up on my journey.
