haha I love this prompt. It's right up my alley.
From the outside, I probably appear to be quite normal. Someone recently told me I was a little eccentric though, so perhaps some of my differences are obvious. I don't dye my hair or wear makeup, for one. Thankfully, people have stopped telling me I "should." I hate when people tell me I should do something.
I live in a nice house, on a quiet street, wear conservative clothing, read, cook, shop and go out for social events. I have never been in trouble with the law, not even a moving violation. I pay my taxes, although the days of that behavior are numbered. When I hear of half a billion dollars being "granted" to this cause or that, I often dislike the cause, especially any causes that either medicate or murder (sometimes they are the same thing) people. that's MY money being used to medicate and murder people, or fund animal experimentation in other countries, or possibly even to traffic children and body parts. If I fund it, I do it.
Despite all the talk from my political party (of fifty years now) about diversity and inclusion, I have found myself on the no-no side because of my alternative lifestyle as regards my medical views. The president of the united states called me a domestic terrorist just over two years ago. I really want people to remember the dangerous extremes we were pushed to by governments all over the world. I really want people to learn how to identify actions of their own that contribute to hate and evil. I really want people to find the strength to say no.
This is my entry to 's daily freewrite challenge. Today's prompt is my alternative lifestyle.
