What came first, the dragon or the dragon's egg?
When the world gives you lemons, bear a dragon to the surface
and let your dragon self enflame the world
with love bombs
and peace cakes
and moon cookies
and healthy babies who light up any room they are in
Puncture the BS we are being told
that the simple businesses of being human -
heating our homes
driving our cars
eating our food
raising our babies to be dragons in their own rights -
are harming the world
No god above can best
the beating heart of the dragon we each hold within
