Hello Freewriters .
Today, I want to share my experience of writing my WAEC examination . The morning of the exam, I woke up early, aware that my paper was scheduled to start at 9:30 . Considering the distance between my house and the exam center, I wanted to make sure I wasn't late . So, I prepared promptly and arranged for transportation to take me directly to the school .
Upon arrival, I discovered that the exam had not yet commenced . An invigilator, who I addressed as "uncle," was giving a stern warning to the students, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations of the exam . They handed out calculators to all of us and instructed us to proceed to the exam hall .
Stepping into the hall, a sense of anticipation filled the air as we prepared to tackle the first paper, which happened to be biology practical . The questions presented were challenging, and though we made our best efforts to answer them, some questions proved to be quite difficult .
Fortunately, the invigilator present provided additional guidance, assisting us in handling the more complex portions . Deep down, we were aware that this assistance amounted to examination malpractice, but it seemed the invigilators were determined to ensure we did not fail .
Finally, we completed the paper, submitted our answer sheets, and marked our names as present in the attendance list . With a sigh of relief, I felt a sense of accomplishment as the first paper was successfully behind me . My focus then shifted to the next paper, English Language, which lay ahead .
As I reflect on that day, I realize that while certain aspects of the exam may have been challenging and unconventional, it was essential to maintain integrity and strive for success through my own abilities . The journey continued, and I looked forward to tackling the upcoming papers with determination and dedication .
