Oh boy, I think I credit my sweet tooth for today's freewrite.
@mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2139: infinite cake shop
Honestly, he didn't know what he would expect as he was the only closest living relative to pick up the possessions his gran left behind, but it was most definitely not the floating being in front of him after he decided to scrub one of the vintage teapots clean.
"You only have ONE wish."
"Hey! I thought the movies gave the wisher 3!"
"Young man, I said only ONE. Now make it count!"
"Fine then! An infinite cake shop!"
"A what...?"
"You heard me! It's what used to stand in this old place my gran ran. Might as well put my degree to use too. Never ending cakes can make for infinite cash flow! And well, think of all the hungry that can be fed..." He coughed out the last part as a means to balance out the greed that was becoming evident of him.
"Why not just wish for infinite money then, boy?"
"I'll probably have a hard time running from the IRS, FBI and the Men in Black. Nobody thinks twice of anything bad in a sweet shop though."
And that was how the shop of cakes, ranging from varying degrees of sweetness and dietary restrictions was made. Your one stop shop for any cake you'd desire.
