From the very start of our lives, nature has surrounded us. Whether it’s the tiniest leaf or the biggest detail, there's always something fascinating to see. And now, as someone who has witnessed its quiet beauty firsthand, I’ve created this blog to share my reflections on the lessons and joy nature brings.
At first glance, nature may seem simple. But if you take a moment to look more closely, you’ll hear it quietly proclaim:
“I am beautifully and wonderfully made by God, according to my kind.”
There’s something deeply moving about sitting outside and gazing at the sky, feeling like it’s just you and the earth in perfect peace. I’ve felt that too. Every time I’m with nature, I feel closer to God. It brings me peace of mind and a calm heart—a kind of joy that no material thing can provide.
Nature doesn’t just make us happy. It reminds us of something important:
God wants us to be happy.
He could have created a world without trees, rivers, or stars. But He chose to surround us with beauty, color, and life. That says a lot about His desire for us to enjoy His creation. Isn’t that comforting to know?
Another lesson it teaches is resilience. In this world, survival mode is important. But how can we survive without being resilient in the first place? The answer is clear. Nature is our direct teacher for it. No matter what storm or stone life throws, it is US who can save ourselves. We cannot control things that is out of our control but we can choose whether to remain strong or not.
And lastly, nature teaches us to spread happiness. Its presence alone can brighten someone’s day. In the same way, we can be a source of joy to others—not by expecting something in return, but by choosing kindness and being a good friend. After all, I believe that "happiness is contagious". So if we strive to maintain a good reputation and handling to others, we can help them be happy.
So the next time you feel overwhelmed, lost, or even just a little tired, try stepping outside. Nature is more than scenery. It's a living, breathing testimony of God’s care. Each tree, mountain, river, and sunset carries a message: You are meant to feel joy.
Let it lead you back to the One who made it all. The more time you spend with creation, the more you’ll feel connected—not just to the world around you, but to the One who holds it all together. That was all for this blog and thank you for reading.
