We lived in peace, away from the outside world,
We farmed and our crops grew bountifully,
Our river flowed with enough fish to last us for many years.
We never had any cause to worry, as we lived in peace and harmony.
Until, they came with daggers and guns, pillaging our villages,
They burned our farms to the ground, filling our rivers with chemicals.
Our men fought bravely but they were overpowered by their big ammunition, Few of us escaped women and children,
We walked for weeks, growing tired and hungry.
We feared for our lives and we almost gave up, till we came across this castle.
It offered us food, shelter, and most of all security,
We felt welcomed and It became our castle of solace.
