We all desire to be rich, I know I do.

When it comes to riches, most don't mind the source, we just want to get there. This takes me back to how it all began. I was in my senior year at demonstration secondary school, back then stats was not what determined who gets the reps. It was who had the looks and brains.
I was unfortunate, I didn't posses both, to a podium level at least. But this is not a story about me, it,s about a friend. Reti, Reti was not the brightest in class neither the most admired but when it came to sports. God!, that guy was good. He could communicate with the ball like a master potter knowing the palms of his arms. His kicks were like a kiss, and his passes were precisely accurate.
We all love to watch him play. After secondary school life kicks in. The search for higher education, its demand and stress. Who knew make up, who had time for soccer, who remembered fashion. If you ever apply or try to get admission into a university in Nigeria, you will relate. It wasn't seamless even for the brainboxes of our set.
Two years later I saw Reti in school, University of Jos, Jos plateau state. He dressed as if he had been suffering from some financial crisis. He still had his smiles and determinations on though. It was as if he wore them on. I didn't see Reti again. Its been 5 years but I hear of his exploit. Reti never gave up. I hear he is now a millionaire.
Reti! how, like seriously how, yes he is rich... I really will like to be like him though. It isn't easy to be at the bottom of the food chain. Especially, especially in my country Nigerian.
Witchcraft or Richcraft, once begin to wonder. Well the say the world will never give up on those that never give up, and some day like Reti, I will drive those sport cars and buy those exotic dogs and wear the latest, expensive, glamorous clothes.
My day will come, and someone like Reti, I will be questioned if it's wichcrat or Richcraft. I hope, huh
