I have seen plenty of animal tracks in my lifetime. We live in an area where there are deer all over the place. They have become pests in some neighborhoods. It's easy to spot their tracks in the snow, and also easy to find them in the soft garden dirt, where they will eat the entire garden if given the chance. I don't like to find deer tracks there, and our fence usually keeps them out. I have seen tracks of rodents and birds in the snow. We have cats, and they also leave tracks in the snow, and muddy footprints on the vehicles.
Sometimes someone will post a photo of animal tracks on local social media, asking what it is. It's a rare day when everyone responding agrees. Dog? Wolf? Coyote? Bear tracks are quite obvious, as are elk tracks, but I don't see either one around here. I'm not sure what a moose track looks like; I can look it up if I want to know. We do have moose around, but they don't pass through our property very often. They can be quite aggressive and dangerous, so I'd rather not see their tracks in my yard.
