Last night, you walked through my mind,
Much the same, as the many nights before..
And once again, you left a thought behind,
One more thought, which I didn't bargain for...
It's since been six hours; and the dawn is come,
But my head still aches, and my heart is numb..
It was but one thought, one distant memory,
But much like last night's, dreams not meant to be...
Tell me, is this how this love thing feels..?
Is this the heaven - my heart spinning on wheels..?
Tell me, because I can't keep pulling strings,
Chasing butterflies, to find they lost their wings..
Oh last night, you walked through my mind,
You were graceful, just like the many nights before..
