"Lynn, pack your things, you'd be going across the border, you will be staying with papa. " I announced as I walked into my little sister's room to meet her reading a magazine.
"Why?" she asked with her little sweet voice.
"C'mon, don't ask too many questions and go get ready, or don't you wanna see your cousins? "
I asked cooing her, knowing she would fall for it. she always loved meeting them.
Yay! and you will get me a chocolate right? she asked throwing her hands into the air.
"Yeah right!" I replied perfunctorily.
It was forty two minutes past one, I had already dropped Lynn with grandpa and told him everything about the expected raid. He tried dissuading me from taking part but my mind was already made up.
If we die, we die fighting.

"We've gotten more info?" George broke the silence.
we've been sitting here for almost an hour now. nobody was saying anything. different thoughts were running through our already messed up minds, but they all centered on one thing, "The LA."
"They are attacking tomorrow, as early as five am. " George revealed, taking our silence as a nod of approval to go on.
"Their plan is to attack when we are all calm and weak, they are planning it bloody." he expounded leaving me weak.
"How many guys is Morris bringing along? Tj asked looking unbothered.
"About 200" he replied
"Woah,that's huge. they really wanna wipe us all out." Mason exclaimed, wiping the edge of his rifle.
"We'll live" Tj affirmed.
"we are all gonna sleep here in the woods tonight, we will wake as early as four and await their attack" I ordered and walked out, to delve into deep thoughts.
"Anyone up for a drink?" Tj asked
"Yeah." They all replied in unison.
"Let's head to the pub then" Tj said and picked his pack of cigarettes.

They walked towards the pub house with different thoughts running through their minds. Tj and George were smoking away effortlessly into the cold night while others drank from their bottle of gin.
"Four bottles of gin" Neo said to the bartender as he walked towards the attendant while the others walked towards an empty table.
"Let's drink like it's our last night." Neo joked as he returned with the drinks.
"Let's make tonight fun. might be our last night together" Tj chipped in as he finished wrapping his weed.
" Cheers" They all said in unison as they clicked their glass together.
