The phrase "no more knowledge" carries a vast meaning, but the idea that there is no more knowledge is a misconception. There is no end to knowledge in the world. In our Islamic faith, it is said that you should seek knowledge until the grave. Acquiring knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim. Let me tell you a beautiful story today.
Once, an arrogant scholar was crossing a river by boat. To show off his knowledge to the boatman, he asked, "Alright, boatman, do you know history?" The boatman, with his head down, replied, "No, sir, I do not know how to read and write." The scholar laughed and said, "Your life is a waste of four annas! By the way, do you understand science or geography?" The boatman, feeling ashamed, said, "No, sir, I have no knowledge of these." The scholar, in a mocking tone, said, "Your life is a waste of eight annas! You know nothing."
After a while, suddenly a strong storm arose in the river. The big waves nearly capsized the boat. Now the boatman asked the scholar, "Sir, do you know how to swim?" The scholar, shaking with fear, replied, "No, boatman, I have no knowledge of swimming!" The boatman then jumped into the water and said, "Sir, your sixteen annas are all for nothing! I will swim to the shore, but your bookish knowledge will not save you today."
In the course of life, practical and timely knowledge is always more effective than theoretical knowledge. When someone humbly says, "I have no more knowledge," their arrogance is shattered, and the path to truth opens up.
