Have you noticed the number of accounts created in the early days of this blockchain, or rather the former blockchain(STEEM), with famous names?
You could almost find the name of any SP500 or NASDAQ stock here in this chain...
In the early days, anyone who understood something of the hidden potential of this blockchain resorted to creating the account of any famous name, in case at some point the "experiment" went viral and the accounts were claimed by the real owners of their name...
Like many other things and expectations, these have remained just another anecdote in the history of HIVE... it doesn't seem that anyone has claimed these accounts to keep their property but the idea had to be tested.
I don't know if in the future, a really viral product like Instagram or TikTok will be built on this blockchain... it seems that the probability of something becoming viral is quite remote on this blockchain... I wonder what is the cause of our failure in this aspect, not having reached more people and keeping them...
It is contradictory but I suppose that, in our case, not being managed by anyone in particular and, above all, prioritizing decentralization, the lack of marketing has been our Achilles heel...
But it is what we have, you cannot have everything in this life and HIVE bet, thank God, on maintaining its degree of decentralization at all costs, which makes me feel proud to belong to this project.
The important thing is that we have come this far overcoming all kinds of calamities and, what is clear, is that we will remain, step by step, slow but sure... one day we will hit the nail on the head.
