Episode 49. Winning the War
Having retreated to Hellington Castle, Count Eric and Baron Albert of Constantine's Empire organize their forces.
Prince Henry and Viscount Minho hold a tactical meeting with their staffs.
The chief of staff briefs them on the attack on Castle Hellington.
“Prince Henry, we have a map of the secret passage from the outside of Hellington Castle to the inside.”
“Okay, then I'll attack from the front of Hellington Castle, and Viscount Minho, I want you to organize a detachment and use the secret passage to get inside. Please open the castle gates and give me the signal.”
“Yes, sir. Understood.” Viscount Minho replies.
“We will begin the attack at 2:00 a.m. Please prepare everyone.” Prince Henry is determined to win this war.
The Council Chamber at Hellington Castle
Count Eric scolds Wizard Alexander.
“Wizard Alexander, you have underestimated your opponent. You have prepared thoroughly, but what do you plan to do now?”
“I didn't expect the other wizard to be so strong. I will prepare thoroughly and defeat him.” Alexander says.
“First, let's organize our lines and wait for the Castilian Imperial Army to arrive. If we attack in unison, we can win.” We can win, Count Eric said. But the mood in the room sank, and the shadow of defeat crept into their hearts.
The dark night turned to dawn. On the ramparts, the soldiers on guard duty rubbed their sleepy eyes and struggled to stay awake.
Viscount Minho, who organized a separate party, gathered the soldiers.
"We are moving inside Hellington Castle through a secret corridor early this morning. Our main camp will launch an attack in front of the gate, and we will quickly secure and open the gate. Let's succeed in this two-way operation and annihilate the enemy."
Viscount Minho and his men traveled through a secret passageway to the castle at dawn.
Outside the castle, Prince Henry launched an attack.
Viscount Minho came inside the castle, looked around, confirmed that there were no enemies, and all the Byeoldongdae came up into the castle.
They moved to secure the castle gates. He killed the soldiers guarding the gate and fired a signal flare.
When Prince Henry saw Viscount Minho's signal, he ordered the marching bugle to sound loudly.
“Poo~~~”
Hearing the trumpet, the main body of troops hiding in front of the castle gates entered the castle through the gates.
Earl Eric and Baron Albert of the Constantine Empire were bewildered to learn that they had been deceived by the operations of their enemies.
A fierce battle raged inside the castle, and Prince Henry and Viscount Minho succeeded.
Constantine's empire had been caught off guard.
Count Eric and Baron Albert were captured, and Alexander the Wizard, realizing his defeat, fled Hellington Castle alone.

Prince Henry declared the Xenostian Empire victorious, and the soldiers shouted in triumph.
The Castilian army, which was on its way to Castle Hellington, turned back when it heard of the defeat of Constantine's army.
The Emperor of the Empire of Genostia praised Prince Henry and Prince Kevin for their victorious return.
He organized a great feast for all the soldiers and rewarded them financially.
Prince Henry, the first prince, gained the emperor's trust and cemented his position as crown prince.
The emperor met Viscount Minho at the celebration.

에피소드 49. 전쟁의 승리
헬링톤 성으로 후퇴한 콘스탄틴 제국의 에릭 백작과 알버트 남작은 전열을 정비했다.
헨리왕자와 민호 자작은 참모들과 작전회의를 한다.
수석 참모가 헬링톤 성 공략을 위해 브리핑을 한다.
“헨리 왕자님, 저희가 헬링톤 성의 밖에서 내부로 통하는 비밀 통로 지도를 확보했습니다.”
“그래요. 그러면 제가 헬링톤 성 앞에서 공격을 하겠습니다. 민호 자작은 별동대를 조직해서 비밀 통로로 해서 내부로 진입해 주세요. 성문을 열어주시고 신호를 보내주세요.”
“네. 알겠습니다.” 민호 자작이 대답한다.
“새벽 2시에 공격을 시작하겠습니다. 모두 준비해주세요.” 헨리왕자는 반드시 이번 전쟁을 승리하리라 다짐했다.
헬링톤 성 안 회의실
에릭 백작은 알렉산더 마법사을 꾸짖는다.
“알렉산더 마법사, 상대를 너무 얕보았어요. 철저히 준비해도 모자랄 판인데 이제 어떻케 하실 생각입니까?”
“상대편 마법사가 이렇게 강할 줄은 몰랐습니다. 철저히 준비해서 꼭 이기겠습니다.” 알렉산더 마법사가 말한다.
“일단, 전열을 정비해주세요. 곧 도착할 카스티야 제국군을 기다려봅시다. 연합해서 공격하면 이길 수 있습니다.” 에릭 백작은 이길 수 있다고 말했다. 하지만 회의실의 분위기는 가라앉았고 그들의 마음속에 패배의 그림자가 스며들었다.
어두운 밤이 되고 새벽이 되었다. 성벽 위에서 경계 근무를 하는 병사들은 졸린 눈을 비비고 깨어있으려고 애쓴다.
별동대를 조직한 민호 자작은 병사들을 집합시켰다.
“우리 별동대는 오늘 새벽에 비밀 통로를 통해 헬링톤 성 내부로 이동합니다. 본진은 성문 앞에서 공격을 시작할 것이고 우리 별동대는 신속하게 성문을 확보하고 열면 됩니다. 이번 양동작전을 꼭 성공시켜 적들을 전멸시킵시다.”
민호 자작과 별동대원들은 새벽을 틈타 비밀 통로로 이동하여 성 내부로 이동했다.
성 밖에서는 헨리왕자가 공격을 시작했다.
민호 자작은 성 내부로 들어와 주위를 살펴보고 적들이 없다는 것을 확인하고 별동대는 모두 성 안으로 올라왔다. 성 문을 확보하기 위해 움직였다. 성 문을 지키는 병사들을 처치하고 신호탄을 쏘아올렸다.
민호 자작의 신호탄을 본 헨리 왕자는 진군 나팔을 크게 울리도록 지시했다.
“뿌 ~~~”
나팔 소리를 듣고 성 문앞쪽에 숨어있던 본진 병력들이 성 문을 통해 성 내부로 진입했다.
콘스탄틴 제국의 에릭 백작과 알버트 남작은 적들의 양동 작전에 속았다는 것을 알게 되고 당황했다.
성 내부에서 치열한 전투가 벌어지고 헨리왕자와 민호 자작의 양동 작전은 성공적이었다.
콘스탄틴 제국은 속수무책으로 당할 수 밖에 없었다.
콘스탄틴 제국의 에릭 백작과 알버트 남작은 체포되었고 알렉산더 마법사는 패배를 직감하고 헬링턴 성을 혼자 빠져 나갔다.
“우리 제노스티아 제국이 적군을 물리치고 승리했습니다.”
헨리왕자는 제노스티아 제국군이 승리했음을 선포했고 병사들은 승리의 함성을 외쳤다.
헬링턴 성으로 오려던 카스티야 제국군도 콘스탄틴 제국군의 패배소식을 듣고 회군하였다.
제노스티아 제국의 황제는 승리하고 돌아온 헨리왕자와 케빈왕자를 칭찬했다.
그리고 참전한 모든 병사들을 위해 대규모 축제를 열었고 금전적 보상을 해주었다.
제1왕자 헨리왕자는 황제에게 믿음을 주게 되었고 황태자의 지위를 확고히 하게 되었다.
황제는 축하연 자리에서 민호 자작을 만났다.
황제는 민호 자작에게 어떤 선물을 줄까요?
