I see an empty basket and I wonder
Are these wishing balloons delivering something
Smuggling humans over borders?
Would anyone dare to shoot them down?
How long can a balloon fly without a captain
Is wind only enough to steer it into the right direction?
It's expensive to travel that way plus it's cold up there,
my friend says while he points up in the air.
Most likely he is right
So I watch the balloon pass by while I stay behind
