Do you recognize the situation this deer is facing? Every day he's cleaning the place and after a turbulent night, it's a mess again. He is in a certain routine and really handy in cleaning up and at the end of the day, he goes exhausted to bed till he changes his cleaning routine and makes an angle in the snow. This is the moment he notices a face, the reason for all his trouble. Is he angry or scared? No way. He had a good life with his cleaning ritual and hot chocolate but once he sees her and she sees him both their lives improve (please watch till the end).
Is there a hidden Christmas message in this short film? I am not sure but if so I like to think that it doesn't matter what a friend looks like as long as it's good company. The cleaning dear and a little girl seem to fit great together and add something extra to each other's life.
