Happy Tuesday Freewriters🤗! Welcome to my 5 Minute Freewrite blog.
I had this conversation with my brother, who's in his 3.2 year of Computer Science. Ever since he joined campus, especially when coding came into the picture, their lecturer encouraged them to form groups so assignments would be easier to handle.
The problem is, the group he ended up in is full of unserious people. They don't seem to care about studying, leaving him to do all the heavy lifting. He's frustrated, and honestly, I feel for him.
I had to urge him to keep going. Just keep coding, lil bro. Your efforts will pay off. Every line you write is sharpening your skills and building the experience you need in this field.
It's sad, though. Those who should be helping him are out there "living life," using his mind and efforts as a cheat code to the final examination. But the truth is, they might hide behind his hard work now, but only he, will truly reap the fruits later.
Yes, cheat codes in life can be very useful, and when they come along, it's wise to hop on the ride. But when it involve exploiting another person, with all due respect, it's worth rethinking. Peace.
Thank you for reading❤️.
