Today i will write about a young fascinating girl who used to believe that her dreams can turn into reality someday ,just like we all believe .
There was a young girl named Sarah who used to see dreams with her glittering little eyes. When she was little everybody around her told her how beautiful and optimistic dream she had been watching at a young age. She used to believe that whatever she is dreaming will become a reality someday. Little did she know life will not be the same specially when she entered
Into the realm of adulthood. (Well just like every young kid, life is sweet and cheerful in childhood but when they entered puberty they starting to lose faith in themselves)
As she grew older her dreams starting to reflect on her current life. Her life was molding in many different ways. She lost her father when she was 16 and her life become almost unresolved because her father was her best friend and the only person in the family who supported her whole heartedly. Her mother was a house lady, she was stereotypical women of the same the society. In order to give a good life style to her children she did hardwork day and night. Society in which Sarah and her mother lived was not open minded for women. Their society depend on men as compared to women. Women had the right to get basic education and after that she is eventually ready for the marriage. Sarah dreams were bigger she didn't want to get married like other girl because since the childhood her father used to say "Sarah you can do anything in life " and that's what Sarah believed all along. When she reached at the age of 20 , society built pressure on her poor mother who was a single parent and want a good life for her daughter. In the pursuit of marriage her mother searched a lot for a better match.
One day Sarah's mother told her that she saw a boy who is well educated but he will hardly support you in your education because is also doing MPHIL. Sarah said ok i will meet to that guy's fanily if you say so. (In her so called society family decides whether girl is suitable for the boy or the boy is suitable for the girl) . Next day, she went to meet the family ignoring all her dreams and fantasies. When she met the family of that boy her body become super numb and her brain heart just crumbled by the fact that she will not be able to fulfill her dreams in future she committed her self with them. These thoughts were engulfing her like a dark cloud in the sky. A cloud that can block the bright rays of the sun and the moonlight at night. Her breath was shortened as they asked questions regarding her education and life style. Her stoical look made her mother feel sad. After all her mother wants happiness of her child.
As the meet and greet was over, Sarah and her mother came back home. They had dinner and after that Sarah went back to her bed to sleep. It was a cold night, at 1am Sarah's mother saw the lights were on in Sarah's room. She went into the room and saw Sarah was holding her diary on which she wrote "i want to be free, i want to achieve my dreams, i want my family to support me with all their hearts just like her father used to believe her" . That moment Sarah's mother felt emotional and had tears in her eyes.
In the next morning Sarah came downstairs for breakfast🍳☕🍞 her mother made her favorite garlic and honey chicken with roasted mashroom sandwich. She ate it happily. After that when Sarah was leaving for her job her mother told her she will be her support and help her to achieve her dream. She said " I will not force you just because society demands from us" I am your guardian and i will decide What's good and bad for you not the society. Sarah's mother hugged her and they both were delighted to enjoy this delicate and beautiful moment.
A week later Sarah got an email from her dream university. She ran to her mother like a bolt and thanked her for believing in her. Her mother was feeling proud and content with her daughter's great achievement.
Moral;- parents are the assets of ones life. Support your children, and don't put burden on the shoulders of your child because in the end you will be the reason of their sadness not the society. If parents are strong to step up for their children then their children can achieve impossible things in their lives.
