It wasn’t a fight that anyone could see.
No loud voices, no arguments.
Just silence… and something constantly pulling me in two different directions.
My heart wanted one thing.
It didn’t think too much. It just felt.
It wanted to move forward, to follow what felt right.
Yet my mind wasn’t ready.
It kept questioning me.
“What if it goes wrong?”
“What if i regret my decision?"
“What if this isn’t the right choice?”
The more I tried to listen to one,
the louder the other became.
When I followed my heart, my mind filled with doubts.
When I listened to my mind, my heart felt heavy and unsatisfied.
It was exhausting.
Like I was being stuck in the middle with no clear direction.
Both felt right in their own way.
Both felt wrong at the same time.
And that’s when I realized....
the biggest clashes don’t happen outside.
They happen quietly within us,
where no one else can see them.
And sometimes…
there’s no winner.
Just a person trying to find a little peace between the two.
