Ah... two young lads at work! What could possibly be better?
Seeing them both in action with their ugly Christmas sweaters;
They'll certainly have more fun doing it that way,
As they spend their time doing what looks like dad's job for the day.
I see two boys: one young, the other older
Although the latter might be the one who is in fact bolder.
Just look as he holds a saw in one hand and a nail in the other,
Carefree of any danger - he seems not at all to bother.
I feel as though they were initially skeptical about their duty this week;
I feel as if that responsibility might've even haunted their sleep.
But the fascination on their faces tells me now otherwise,
That the hard work they've put into this task has become their true prize.
I wonder what in fact it is they might be making?
I eager to know also of the conversations undertaken.
"I'll put this nail here..."the older boy's voice might have sang,
While the one with the hammer keeps thinking "boy.... I can't wait to go bang!"
I believe these boys are being supervised, surely... it must be that way,
For if not, these boys would certainly end up having a bad day.
But fear not, for in this picture, that's not what's to be in stall...
For if you look closely enough, you would see there's a nervous parent behind the fourth wall.
