Vacations are that special time where we not only rest but where we can also take a trip. Not only for a matter of pleasure and getting our feet in the water. It is also to change the environment and get completely out of our everyday life. To sleep in another bed, to wake up looking at a new ceiling and where even the water tastes different.

My best vacations were undoubtedly with my friends, on two occasions in particular, more as a young man, which is where one enjoys life more intensely. When you have a few gray hairs on your head, the enjoyment is different. With my friends we spent long hours of the night walking along the beach smoking and drinking, this group of friends were all musicians (except me) so we sang a lot of national rock from early evening until sunrise many times. The beach in summer is a beautiful thing, the winds are strong but not so strong as to silence the music and our self-perceived screams as singing.

This group of friends were all kind of hippies, so maybe we didn't go to bars and clubs, but the truth is that we had a lot of fun going around the city and walking on the beach. We took a lot of pictures, we were kids, there were no cell phones with cameras, or at least we didn't have them! At that time it was still normal to have a camera that was a camera and a phone that was a phone.

We had rented a big and spacious house, very nice indeed, we had several board games for the rainy days. TEG, Monopoly and chess, I had even taken my desktop computer with me, as always when I go on a trip of medium or long duration (we had been gone for 15 days if I remember correctly). Even in some pictures you can see that I had some holes in my beard where there was no hair, which luckily later I was able to recover. I was super stressed, so the sea air and the relaxing environment was very positive for me. Some nights of intense rain were combated with long sessions of music and drinks, although I found some time a day to waste on the computer we had a very active routine so we took advantage of the sunny and warm days.

This was my favorite vacation, super relaxed, with no schedule or obligations of any kind, completely de-stressed and given to rest.

Las vacaciones son ese momento especial donde no solo descansamos sino donde también podemos hacer un viaje. No solo por una cuestión de placer y meter las patas en el agua. También es para cambiar el entorno y salir completamente de nuestra cotidianeidad. Dormir en otra cama, despertar mirando un nuevo techo y donde hasta el agua tiene un sabor diferente.

Mis mejores vacaciones sin duda fueron con mis amigos, en dos ocasiones particularmente, más de jovén que es donde uno disfruta de la vida con más intensidad. Cuando se tienen encima algunas canas el disfrute es diferente. Con mis amigos pasábamos largas horas de la noche caminando por la playa fumando y bebiendo, este grupo de amigos eran todos músicos (menos yo) así que cantábamos mucho rock nacional desde temprana la noche hasta que salía el sol muchas veces. La playa en verano es algo hermoso, los vientos son fuertes pero no tanto como para silenciar la música y nuestros gritos auto percibidos como cantos.

Este grupo de amigos eramos todos medio Hippies, asi que quizas no ibamos a bares y a boliches, pero la verdad es que nos divertíamos mucho recorriendo la ciudad y caminando por la playa. Hacíamos muchas fotos, eramos chicos, no había celulares con cámara, o al menos nosotros no teníamos! En esa época todavía era normal tener una cámara que era cámara y un teléfono que era teléfono.

Habíamos alquilado una casa grande y espaciosa, muy linda la verdad, teníamos varios juegos de mesa para los días de lluvia. El TEG, el monopoly y no podía faltar un ajedrez, yo hasta me había llevado la computadora de escritorio, como siempre que hago algún viaje de duración media o larga (nos habíamos ido 15 días si mal no recuerdo)

Aparte yo estaba en medio de una relación muy tensa y las vacaciones me vinieron excelente. Incluso en algunas fotos se puede notar que tenía unos agujeros en la barba donde no había pelo, que por suerte mas tarde pude recuperar. Estaba super estresado, así que el aire del mar y el relajo del entorno me fue muy positivo. Algunas noches de intensa lluvia fueron combatidas con largas sesiones de música y bebida

Noches de payada y rock nacional, mis amigos saben practicamente todos los temas nacionales, siempre es hermoso.

Si bien encontraba un rato al día para desperdiciar en la computadora teníamos una rutina super activa así que aprovechamos que los días nos tocaron todos soleados y calurosos.
