Lo primero que se me vino a la mente cuando leí la palabra adopción es encargarse o asumir la crianza de un ser humano o una mascota. Pero, esta palabra no solo se refiere a un proceso legal, cuando leí mascotas o niños, aplica la primera definición, pero al leer la palabra cripto, allí adoptar tomó otro significado, en ese caso sería como asumir un hábito o una doctrina como parte de un estilo de vida.

Alguna vez llegué a contemplar la idea de adoptar un niño, al no poder engendrar uno propio, las opciones eran la inseminación artificial o la adopción. Averiguando sobre la primera, me di cuenta que era más loable la segunda, por el tema de los costos, resultaba impagable para mi someterme a un procedimiento de inseminación, sea artificial o in vitro, siendo este último el más seguro. Al final, por ciertas circunstancias, desistí de ambas opciones. Definitivamente, adoptar un niño requiere de muchos trámites y papeleo, además de exámenes psicológicos y estudios socio-económicos.

El niño debe estar en un hogar estable que garantice su bienestar físico, mental, emocional, alimenticio, académico y económico. Cuando la familia logra la adopción, hasta allí no llega el proceso, ni se olvidan de él. El estado designará a un trabajador social para que visite periódicamente el hogar que ha acogido al niño como su hijo biológico para monitorear la adaptación del menor y que todo marche bien. De hecho, tengo entendido que al principio de la adopción, hay un período de prueba o adaptación, en el que si una de las partes no se siente bien, puede apelar para deshacer el trámite. Quienes pueden adoptar?, personas solteras o solas, que estén en unión, bien sea en concubinato o casadas. Personas del mismo sexo han adoptado niños, lo he vsito en otros países, aquí en Venezuela, desconozco.

Al igual que en la adopción de niños, los miembros de la fundación visitarían periódicamente al cachorro y ver que todo marchara bien. También existía lo del período de adaptación, muchas personas ven fácil llevarse un perrito o gato a casa, pero si estos rompen algo, ya no los toleran y lo abandonan. Lastimosamente, supe de personas que a la semana lo querían devolver, y en otros casos, los abandonaron o fallecieron porque se enfermaron y no le brindaron atención médica. Fueron casos de adopción sin éxito, aunque afortunadamente no todos terminaron así.

Pese a que no he adoptado formalmente, sí le he brindado hogar temporal o permanente a perritos que han estado en la calle y me ha dado dolor dejarlos. Han vivido aquí hasta que cruzaron el arcoíris, como Sisy y Coro, ahora me acompañan Muñeca y Coco, mis fieles mascotas, ambos vivían en la calle, al llevarlos a casa quedó demostrado que sí podemos cambiar vidas y hacer del mundo un lugar mejor. Siempre he sentido una gran sensibilidad por los animales y la necesidad de ayudarlos siempre que esté a mi alcance.

Ahora hablaremos de otro tipo de adopción, esa que se refiere a un hábito o doctrina, por ejemplo, hace casi tres meses decidí adoptar un estilo de vida más saludable, haciendo ejercicios y alimentándome más sanamente. Por otra parte, en mi estilo de vida la adopción de criptomonedas está presente y esto se lo debo a Hive. I once considered adopting a child. Since I couldn't have my own, the options were artificial insemination or adoption. After looking into the first option, I realized that the second was more desirable. Due to the cost, it was unaffordable for me to undergo an insemination procedure, whether artificial or in vitro, the latter being the safest. In the end, due to certain circumstances, I gave up on both options. Adopting a child definitely requires a lot of paperwork and red tape, as well as psychological tests and socio-economic studies.

The child must be in a stable home that guarantees their physical, mental, emotional, nutritional, academic, and economic well-being. When the family completes the adoption, the process does not end there, nor is the child forgotten. The state will assign a social worker to periodically visit the home that has taken in the child as their biological child to monitor the child's adjustment and ensure that everything is going well. In fact, I understand that at the beginning of the adoption, there is a trial or adjustment period, during which if one of the parties does not feel comfortable, they can appeal to undo the process. Who can adopt? Single or unmarried individuals, those in a relationship, whether cohabiting or married. Same-sex couples have adopted children; I have seen this in other countries, but here in Venezuela, I am unaware of any such cases.

As such, I have never formally adopted one, that is, going to a foundation, applying for the adoption process for a dog or cat, filling out forms, and accepting the conditions set by the institution through a contract. However, I am familiar with the process because I have volunteered at foundations to help stray dogs and cats. Once, I found a puppy on the street, and it pained me to leave him there, so I took him home and immediately contacted one of the foundations. When they decided to hold an adoption day, like the rest of the animal lovers, I went with my protected baby to process his adoption. We couldn't leave him there; we had to stay until he was adopted. Otherwise, if he wasn't adopted, we would have to take him home again and wait for another adoption day. I remember that the adopters had to provide a photocopy of their ID and fill out some forms, a contract with all the commitments and responsibilities that come with adopting a pet for its well-being. That day, I was happy because my protégé found a home.

As with child adoption, members of the foundation would periodically visit the puppy to ensure that everything was going well. There was also the adaptation period. Many people think it's easy to take a puppy or kitten home, but if they break something, they no longer tolerate them and abandon them. Unfortunately, I heard of people who wanted to return them after a week, and in other cases, they abandoned them or they died because they got sick and were not given medical attention. These were unsuccessful adoptions, although fortunately not all of them ended that way.

Although I have not formally adopted, I have provided temporary or permanent homes for dogs that have been on the street, and it has been painful to leave them. They lived here until they crossed the rainbow bridge, like Sisy and Coro. Now Muñeca and Coco, my faithful pets, accompany me. Both lived on the street, and when I brought them home, it became clear that we can change lives and make the world a better place. I have always felt a great sensitivity towards animals and the need to help them whenever I can.

Now we will talk about another type of adoption, one that refers to a habit or doctrine. For example, almost three months ago, I decided to adopt a healthier lifestyle by exercising and eating more healthily. On the other hand, the adoption of cryptocurrencies is present in my lifestyle, and I owe this to Hive.
