Conociendo la plaza de "El Bolsón" - Getting to know the square of "El Bolsón".

Cuando uno se decide salir de vacaciones sin un itinerario fijo, con la idea de conocer varios sitios tiene como ventaja poder conocer varios lugares y vivir esa hermosa sensación que uno experimenta ante lo desconocido y mucho más si nos encontramos con bellísimos paisajes

Como contrapartida al estar pocos días en cada sitio, no permite conocer en profundidad esos lugares y cuando lo que encontramos nos gusta demasiado, puede quedar una especie de sabor amargo de no haber planificado de otra manera el viaje.

Estas vacaciones de veranos planificamos un ambicioso viaje y cuando digo ambicioso no estoy haciendo referencia al dinero que necesitaríamos en esta aventura, sino por los lugares que queríamos conocer y sobre todo por la cantidad de kilómetros a recorrer.

When one decides to go on vacation without a fixed itinerary, with the idea of visiting several places, it has the advantage of being able to visit several places and experience that beautiful sensation that one experiences before the unknown and even more if we find beautiful landscapes.

On the other hand, staying only a few days in each place does not allow us to get to know those places in depth and when we like what we find too much, it can leave a kind of bitter taste of not having planned the trip differently.

This summer vacation we planned an ambitious trip and when I say ambitious I am not referring to the money we would need for this adventure, but for the places we wanted to visit and especially for the amount of kilometers to travel.

Después de visitar varias ciudades y disfrutar de muchos sitios maravillosos con casi dos mil kilómetros recorridos llegamos a un destino muy conocido por su belleza y por su entorno increíble; El Bolsón.

Esta ciudad ubicada en el extremo sudoeste de la provincia de Río Negro es uno de los sitios más visitados por turistas argentinos y extranjeros por su belleza y por la gran cantidad de atractivos que rodean la ciudad.

Fueron muchos los atractivos que conocimos en esta hermosa ciudad y muchos más los que faltaron para conocer, pero como les mencioné párrafos más arriba, cuando el tiempo de permanencia es limitado no queda otra alternativa que seleccionar que conocer y que dejar para futuras visitas.

After visiting several cities and enjoying many wonderful places with almost two thousand kilometers traveled we arrived at a destination well known for its beauty and incredible environment; El Bolsón.

This city located in the extreme southwest of the province of Rio Negro is one of the most visited places by Argentine and foreign tourists for its beauty and the many attractions that surround the city.

There were many attractions that we visited in this beautiful city and many more that we did not know, but as I mentioned paragraphs above, when the time of stay is limited, there is no other alternative but to choose what to visit and what to leave for future visits.

Después de disfrutar lugares maravillosos no queríamos irnos del lugar sin conocer parte del casco urbano de la ciudad, por lo cual dedicamos una mañana para recorrer la plaza central, por recomendación de la señora de la cabaña que estábamos alquilando.

Al llegar al sitio corroboramos aquello que nos comentaba la dueña de la cabaña. Al llegar nos encontramos con una plaza muy grande y muy bonita con un gran lago en el centro. En medio del lago un precioso puente permitía llegar hacia el otro extremo de la plaza sin necesidad de dar toda la vuelta al lago.

En medio del puente encontramos una especie de Biblia de hierro con muchos candados con nombres cerrados en las rejas del puente. Una persona que pasaba por el sitio el cual representaba una especie de compromiso de amor eterno. El candado lo colocan las parejas tirando las llaves a las aguas del lago.

After enjoying wonderful places we did not want to leave the place without visiting part of the urban area of the city, so we spent a morning touring the central square, on the recommendation of the lady of the cabin we were renting.

When we arrived at the site we corroborated what the owner of the cabin had told us. Upon arrival we found a very large and beautiful square with a large lake in the center. In the middle of the lake a beautiful bridge allowed us to reach the other end of the square without having to go all the way around the lake.

In the middle of the bridge we found a kind of iron Bible with many padlocks with names locked on the bars of the bridge. A person passing by the site represented a kind of commitment of eternal love. The padlock is placed by couples throwing the keys into the waters of the lake.

A medida que recorríamos el puente podíamos observar gran parte de la plaza desde un lugar privilegiado y desde allí pudimos observar la belleza del lugar y la delicadeza con la que se mantenía el parquizado un césped muy bien mantenido y muchas flores.

Más allá del parquizado otra cosa que llamo nuestra atención fue la cantidad de figuras talladas en madera. Cada figura tenía una historia y una connotación diferente lo que le da un aspecto muy especial a esa bellísima plaza central.

Recuerdo que más allá de apreciar la plaza lo que llamaba mucho nuestra atención eran las vistas que se tenía desde este sitio. El verde, las montañas, el hermoso cielo pintado con delicadas nubes y la bandera argentina flameando nos regalaba un paisaje increíble.

As we walked across the bridge we could see a large part of the square from a privileged place and from there we could observe the beauty of the place and the delicacy with which the landscaping was kept, a very well maintained lawn and many flowers.

Beyond the landscaping, another thing that caught our attention was the amount of figures carved in wood. Each figure had a story and a different connotation which gives a very special aspect to this beautiful central square.

I remember that beyond appreciating the square, what attracted our attention were the views from this place. The green, the mountains, the beautiful sky painted with delicate clouds and the Argentine flag waving gave us an incredible landscape.

Recuerdo de dar una vuelta de 360 grados para poder capturar imágenes que quedaran grabadas en mis retinas y para donde uno mirara encontraba vistas magníficas.

Quizá nos quedaron ganas de conocer algo más de esta hermosa ciudad cordillerana, pero de seguro quedarán como una deuda pendiente para futuras visitas. Aún así estamos felices de haber conocido todos los sitios que visitamos.

Viendo estas postales a la distancia uno toma consciencia de lo amplio y maravilloso que es nuestro país más allá de cualquier coyuntura que se esté atravesando.

I remember going around 360 degrees in order to capture images that would remain engraved in my retinas and everywhere I looked I found magnificent views.

Perhaps we wanted to know something more of this beautiful mountain city, but it will surely remain as a pending debt for future visits. Even so, we are happy to have seen all the places we visited.

Looking at these postcards from a distance, one becomes aware of how wide and wonderful our country is beyond any situation we are going through.

Sin dudas Argentina tiene paisajes de los más bellos del mundo y déjenme decirles que uno toma consciencia de ello cuando visita estos lugares. En documentales y en programas de turismo de TV puede observarse parte de esa belleza, pero cuando uno se dedica a visitar esos lugares más allá de lo visual, uno siente esa belleza que transmiten esos sitios.

Espero que hayan podido disfrutar un poco de esta visita conmigo y haya sembrado en ustedes el bichito de la curiosidad y si alguna vez están de visita conozcan este maravilloso destino.

Undoubtedly Argentina has some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world and let me tell you that one becomes aware of it when visiting these places. In documentaries and TV tourism programs you can see part of this beauty, but when you visit these places beyond the visual, you feel the beauty that these places transmit.
