En Argentina, en la mayoría de los pueblos, ciudades, existen clubes de barrios. Algunos son totalmente autónomos y otros dependen de alguna manera del municipio. En mi caso particular vivo a una cuadra del club Guillermina que pertenece al barrio Villa Guillermina que es donde resido. Pero hoy le voy a hablar sobre el club social deportivo de Ezeiza, que está inmerso en el centro de la ciudad de Ezeiza, a muy pocas cuadras del edificio municipal, la estación de tren y como pasa en muchas ciudades, cerca de la iglesia, los bomberos y los bancos respectivos. Sin olvidarme por supuesto de la emblemática plaza de Ezeiza que por cierto está muy bonita y bien cuidada.

! [English] In Argentina, most towns and cities have neighborhood clubs. Some are completely independent, while others depend in some way on the municipality. In my case, I live a block from the Guillermina club, which belongs to the Villa Guillermina neighborhood where I live. But today I'm going to talk about the Ezeiza Social and Sports Club (https://clubatleticoezeiza.com.ar/), which is located in the heart of Ezeiza, just a few blocks from the municipal building, the train station, and, as is common in many cities, near the church, the fire station, and the banks. And of course, I can't forget the iconic Ezeiza plaza, which is very beautiful and well-maintained.

      Realizando unos trámites pertinentes en el correo argentino, me encuentro con estos murales tan bien realizados, que nos cuentan de la multiplicidad de disciplinas deportivas que se practica en esta institución. En su página oficial nos cuentan de que es una sociedad sin fines de lucro, que su existencia dependen de algunos ex deportistas de la institución y por supuesto de la ayuda importante de los vecinos del barrio. Además de galpón donde se realizan las diferentes disciplinas deportivas, tiene una confitería y locales en alquiler.

! [English] While running some errands at the Argentine post office, I came across these beautifully done murals, which depict the wide variety of sports practiced at this institution. Their official website explains that it's a non-profit organization whose existence depends on former athletes and, of course, the significant support of local residents. In addition to the warehouse where the different sports are practiced, it also has a café and spaces available for rent.

      Desde fútbol en cancha sintética, básquetbol, patín, karate, voleibol, ajedrez y un sinfín de disciplinas deportivas, se practica en la institución. Por esas cosas de la vida, mis hijos nunca han ido al lugar a realizar algún deporte, sino más bien en la institución cerca de casa. Pero tengo amigos y familiares que conocen, las formas en que trabajan, y la mayoría tienen muy buenas referencias. Considero de vital importancia dar a conocer estos espacios y hacer conscientes a las familias, de la importancia de la inserción de los chicos en el deporte, sea cual sea el mismo.

! [English] From artificial turf soccer and basketball to skating, karate, volleyball, chess, and countless other sports, a wide variety of disciplines are practiced at the institution. Due to circumstances, my children have never actually gone to the facility to play any sports, instead using the local sports center near our house. However, I have friends and family who are familiar with the facilities and how they operate, and most have very positive things to say about them. I believe it is vitally important to raise awareness of these spaces and make families understand the importance of children's involvement in sports, whatever that may be.

Quizás asististe en tu juventud y por qué no ahora, a realizar algún deporte.
