¿Cuál ha sido ese libro/historia que te ha marcado de por vida, y por qué?
Yo recibí mucha motivación para leer, para prepararme, pero este libro Mujercitas me llego un poco más tarde mientras estudiaba la carrera universitario en Caracas y simplemente su lectura me atrapo por la valentía de estas damas tan jóvenes. Estaba en una casa de familia con habitaciones para alquilar y con una gran biblioteca que me permitieron acceder a ella.
Nunca había oído sobre esta obra y su autora. La historia de Mujercitas me emociono vi unas damas que en su forma y época iban a cambiar el mundo. Me parecieron un ejemplo para mi con su unión familiar y hasta con sus peleas entre hermanas. Además del libro pude ver una película que luego sacaron del libro. Lo que me llama la atención es está basada en las vivencias de la autora durante su niñez y lo cuenta con toda naturalidad.
Mujercitas (1868) su autora Louisa May Alcott es una novela realista, nos detalla el cambio de la niñez a la adultez de las cuatro hermanas March durante la Guerra Civil estadounidense.

What book/story has marked you for life, and why?
I received a lot of motivation to read, to prepare myself, but this book, Little Women, came to me a little later while I was studying at university in Caracas, and I was simply captivated by the courage of these young women. I was staying in a family home with rooms for rent and a large library that I was allowed to access.
I had never heard of this work or its author. The story of Little Women moved me; I saw women who, in their own way and time, were going to change the world. They seemed like an example to me, with their family unity and even their squabbles between sisters. Besides the book, I was able to see a movie that was later made from the book. What strikes me is that it's based on the author's experiences during her childhood, and she recounts them with complete naturalness.

What is your favorite literary genre?
I love romance novels and comedies. Love is undoubtedly a fundamental aspect of humanity, and laughter relieves the soul of daily burdens. I also enjoy creative fantasy. The truth is, one should read in all genres to see what one likes best.

No tengo costumbre celebrarlo, tal vez alguna reseña en mis plataformas como recordatorio importante. Pero con la facilidad del internet tengo tiempo que no abro un libro y lo disfruto en su totalidad.

How do you usually celebrate Book Month? I don't usually celebrate it, maybe post a review on my platforms as an important reminder. But with the ease of the internet, it's been a while since I've opened a book and fully enjoyed it.
¿Cuál es tu stand favorito, cuando vas a una exposición de libros?
No se si un stand de libros seria mi esquina favorita, pero entrar a una librería o una biblioteca me encantaba, ese olor a libro nuevos a cuadernos es maravilloso. La época escolar con los libros nuevos me encantaba. Creo que me encantaría ser la dueña de una librería, pero me conformo con tener una buena biblioteca en casa.

What's your favorite stand when you go to a book fair? I don't know if a book stand would be my favorite corner, but I loved going into a bookstore or a library; that smell of new books and notebooks is wonderful. I loved school days with all the new books. I think I'd love to own a bookstore, but I'm happy having a good library at home.

Mi autor favorito es Gabriel García Márquez y me hubiese encantado poder conocerlo y pensar que estuvo viviendo y trabajando en la ciudad de Caracas hace mucho tiempo y luego en México. La verdad no he tenido la oportunidad de conocer algún escritor muy reconocido, aunque no dudo que aquí en hive tenemos unos cuantos que a través de estas pantallas se vuelven nuestros amigos más queridos.

Have you ever met an author in person? Or is there a particular author you'd like to meet? My favorite author is Gabriel García Márquez, and I would have loved to meet him. I'd love to think that he lived and worked in Caracas a long time ago and later in Mexico. I haven't had the chance to meet any very well-known writers, although I'm sure we have quite a few here on Hive who have become our dearest friends through these screens.
