Hoy me desperté, consternado, tanto así que me cuesta escribir, pues desde ayer estoy atento en las noticias de la tele, por la situación que está pasando en la provincia de Bahía Blanca, Argentina. El día de ayer ocurrió una tragedia, fue azotada por una tormenta eléctrica, los vientos no corrían y la lluvia se acumuló en toda la provincia, acumulando aproximadamente 450 milímetros de agua en 2 horas. Se han evacuado más de 1300 personas y hay centeneras de personas desaparecidas y hay muchos muertos aún, por confirmar. Todo el país está en duelo, ya está tratando de llegar la ayuda por parte del gobierno, tanto nacional, como regional, pero la zona está tan abnegada que es difícil llegar hasta el foco de la tragedia. La verdad es que hay que elevar una plegaria al cielo y pedir por esta gente que la está pasando muy mal, sé que Dios es grande y poderoso y todo tiene que mejorar.

Esta imagen es desgarradora, corresponde a un neonatal de Bahía Blanca, allí se metió toda el agua y los médicos y enfermeras trataron de salvar a los bebes que están en cuidados intensivos. Algunos de estos médicos, en su estado de desesperación, arriesgaron la vida e incluso alguno de ellos fallecieron. Por su vocación de servicio, no podían abandonar el hospital y dejar a los niños en las incubadoras. ¡Dios, qué imagen tan fuerte! Se necesita mucha ayuda, hay que dejar a un lado todo tilde político, hay que ponerse en la mano en el corazón, hay que tender la mano a esta gente que la está pasando mal, toda la ciudad está desbastada en su totalidad. Es un desastre de gran magnitud, a esta hora hay mucha gente colaborando, tratando de ayudar lo más que se pueda y esperando a que llegue la ayuda por parte del gobierno. La tarea es grande, son muchas zonas que tienen gran afectación. Hay que hacer limpieza y remoción de escombros. Son situaciones que te cambian la vida en cuestiones de segundo. Hay mucha gente colaborando tratando de encontrar a sus familiares desaparecidos.

Son muchas las familias que lo perdieron todo. Esta fue una tormenta que se desató el día de ayer, después de varios días de lluvia. Cayeron fuertes granizos, muchas descargas eléctricas, y sin duda alguna fue algo impresionante, lo que se vivió ayer en la provincia de Bahía Blanca. Las personas mandaban videos con el agua al cuello, desesperadas, que no sabían qué hacer, ni para dónde agarrar. Hay mucha gente incomunicada, que no se sabe nada de ellos. Hay muchos centros de evacuación, pero hacer contactos con los afectados es muy difícil. Son varios los hospitales, escuelas, centros comerciales y miles de casas que se vinieron abajo por el torrencial aguacero y mucha gente esperando para ser rescatados. Los que pudieron se subieron arriba de los techos de sus viviendas o de algún edificio para tratar de sobrevivir a esta situación. Algunos familiares se quedaron con el recuerdo de una última llamada telefónica por parte de su familiar afectado, sin saber más nada de ellos.

Yo vivo en Buenos aires, aunque ayer había anunciado que la tormenta iba a venir para estos lados, llovió, pero no fue con gran magnitud, gracias a Dios y a la virgen. Todo esto me hace recordar una tragedia que ocurrió en Venezuela en 1999 que fue en el Estado Vargas, en la Guaira. Eso también fue devastador, fueron miles de personas que quedaron tapiadas por el lodo que arrasó con todo y que tanto fue, que el lugar quedó declarado campo santo, porque nunca aparecieron muchos de los fallecidos. Nada más, el día de ayer, publicaba en mi cuenta un artículo sobre la hermandad, sobre la solidaridad y mira que es hora de aplicarla. Sé que Argentina es un país unido y, junto somos más, hay que ponerse a la orden para socorrer en la manera que se pueda. Son tantas cosas que se necesitan: colchonetas, agua potable, cobijas, alimentos enlatados y todo lo que se pueda llevar al lugar o zona de afectación. Dios quiera que sirva este artículo para que esta información llegue a todos los rincones del mundo y que esas personas puedan recibir la ayuda necesaria para salir adelante.
