Nos llamó poderosamente la atención y por supuesto en ese momento recibió su reprimenda. Porque estas delicias no son tan económicas y mínimamente me hubiese consultado para ver qué decía mamá. Pero no, el señor hizo un pedido de 12 piezas y además se lo consumió solito.
! [English] I remember once, when he started his first job—I don't recall what it was—but I do remember that the first thing he did, without asking permission, was order sushi. It really caught our attention, and of course, he got a scolding right away. Because these delicacies aren't exactly cheap, and he could have at least asked me what Mom thought. Con el pasar del tiempo nos dimos cuenta de que su simpatía por el Sushi es bastante grande y lo primero que dijo cuando le preguntamos qué quiere comer el día de su cumpleaños, nos dijo sushi. Con su hermana, que es una genia en la cocina, dijimos tendrá sushi pero hecho por nosotras.

Y fue la mejor decisión que tomamos y no por la calidad de lo casero, sino porque reunir a todos los hermanos, el padre también, para cocinar juntos, fue un momento muy bonito para mí, y creo que para él también. Ashley ya lo había preparado y era la que más conocimiento tenía. Miramos muchos tutoriales y la verdad nos salió exquisito.

[English] And it was the best decision we made, not because of the quality of the homemade food, but because getting all the siblings together, and our father too, to cook together was a really special moment for me, and I think for him as well. Ashley had already made it and was the most knowledgeable. We watched a lot of tutorials and it turned out absolutely delicious.

También a pedido del más pequeño agregamos unas salchichas envueltas y por supuesto su chocotorta para cantarles el feliz cumpleaños. Cumplir 19 años es muy importante para el niño, ya que paso a paso va adquiriendo su independencia. En estos días cumplirá su primer mes laboral y eso nos llena de emoción. Deseo que no abandonen la facultad y que siga dándole prioridad y también trabajando al mismo tiempo.
! [English] At the youngest's request, we also added some wrapped sausages and, of course, his chocolate cake so we could sing "Happy Birthday" to him. Turning 19 is a very important milestone for him, as he's gradually gaining independence. He'll be celebrating his first month of work soon, and that fills us with excitement. I hope he doesn't drop out of university and continues to prioritize it while also working.
