Sitting down quietly,
He tried to remember who he was,
The presence was there taunting,
It felt as if he was from another world where wars…
Yes, wars… it roared loudly.
He has always been scared,
A scared little cat with no life,
Holding his heard voices whispered,
Their whispers sent shivers down his spine.
His heart heaved as he tried hard to remember,
The world around him was burning,
But he couldn't let go of his fears and that made him shudder,
Still he knew he needed to save the world from burning.
Minutes passed swiftly as he stood up in disarray,
His eyes waters like a dripping tap,
Screams echoed and he felt a sharp pain,
His heart shattered as he heard people running away.
And just like in the movies, his heart sprang up,
His feet echoed as he walked through the fires,
His head was high up as he dashed into the building,
His breath was steady and his eyes shone like they had fireflies.
He is no savior but the people needed someone to save them,
From zero fearful thoughts, he became a hero.
He was able to achieve his goal by saving them,
He was glad his thoughts didn't sink him down because he rose.
Roaring, his chest heaved up seeing everyone was saved,
He heard sirens and knew the injured will be saved,
He pushed through his breaking point and people were saved
With his fear of fire gone; He is saved.
