It's easier to let you go because you bring such ache
Life was meant to be easier but you made it harder
Despite knowing the pain life throws at us
Still, you decided to add more rather than ease things
What's the essence of humanity when you can't make people better?
A lot of people would rather pile more ache and make others bitter
When it's easier to at least throw your kindness around like the litter
I don't understand what most people choose to see about life
I don't know what goes through their heads when they act the way they do
Life is meant to be lived while we help others long the way
Most people are selfish in nature and think about themselves alone
They would act the same way when they are offered their clone
The voice of reason for many has been lost, they won't pick the phone
They intensify their negative actions and intensify the tone
It's easier to let go those who cause us more pain
What's the point in holding on to them as they cause more pain
You can't help, it's okay but at least don't make situations worse than you met them
