I look at my human
As the warm embrace of sleep pulls her in
Two nods should do it
Without fail, slumbering she is
Like clockwork the eyes flutters open
Darting around my face to know why I'm awake
Never fully succumbing to the allure of your lucid dreams
This is why i love my human
I was howling without fail
My eyes searching for answers to questions unasked
Why do you sleep my human? I seem to ask
Even in my incoherence, you understand me
For i love my human more than any other
Who but she gives me the suckle
Which without fail keeps me sated
Satisfied and without complaint
So my human, you don't sleep till I say so
No rest till i give you leave to
The captain of this ship you're in my human
In for this ride till i say so
Alas, I do this not out of spite
I am without worries nor concern my human
My name is baby like you call me
But others would call me carefree
