Eternal Vows.

With tears in her eyes,
Life takes her last breath,
and before closing her eyes forever,
she says:

I solemnly swear that I will come to you,
ready or not.
I will give up and fulfill your dream to have me forever,
from the moment of my last breath to eternity.

Do you, Life, take Death as your eternal partner?
To love and to hold?
To cherish and honor?
To give darkness and silence?

Life would want to escape,
but it is her destiny;
there is no extra time.
