A big strong cowboy comes riding into town.
Riding so hard the horse had foam coming down.
Harsh Bill the Texan is coming, you best move on.
He gave his horse a kick and he was gone.

A very large, rough looking man showed up soon.
Riding a bison bull, stops by the saloon.
He grabs the bison by the horns and brakes.
Walks through the swinging doors and everyone shakes.

He had long hair and his eyes were all shifty.
He yelled in a strong voice, “Give me a whiskey”.
He showed his brown teeth as he yelled his command.
“Yes sir”, said the bartender, with trembling hands.

He gave everyone a frightening glare.
Then he threw his glass up into the air.
With a smile on his face he pulled out his gun.
Shot the glass all to pieces just for fun.

The bartender asked, “Do you want one more”?
The man just looked at him and turn towards the door.
“No time for another, he said with a sneer.

Howdy y’all. It’s me, ninong7 aka UJ aka John. Just a short intro about myself. I am a Texan that has retired in the Philippines. I moved to the Philippines with my wife back in May 2010. I am retired from the US Air Force. The music I like is mostly Classic Country and Classic Rock. I guess you could say that I am “Classic”. I play dominoes when I can find someone that will play, I play chess, cribbage, spades, hearts, Empire Builder, Rail Baron, Acquire and a few other games. I like to write poems and stories (although pretty novice) and I love learning about history, just about any history. I’m at home on my computer a lot but if I could afford to, I’d be traveling and documenting my travels to post in my blog. I hope to get to know a lot of you through PeakD and Discord.
