The new supermarket really is a wonder.
Just before it sprays your fruits and vegetables
you smell fresh rain and hear some distant thunder.
They make them look a lot more purchasable.

When you pass by the milk you can hear cows moo.
You also get the smell of freshly cut hay.
The meat department is the next to pass through.
It smells like you’re in a barbecue cafe.

As you pass the eggs you hear cackles and clucks.
Plus, the aroma of bacon and eggs frying.
If you just keep walking, with any good luck,
you’ll smell the fresh baked bread, so tantalizing.

In the liquor section you smell fresh brewed beer.
There is not much lacking in this high-tech store.
You can buy just about anything in here.
But I won’t buy toilet paper here anymore.
