You survived the hits of life,
See you coming alive like
A flower that met with the sunshine,
It's finally a time to smile.
You were once a king in rags,
Who had completely lost himself,
You were once a man in rage,
Angry at what life has thrown at him,
But now I see you in a range, driving a rover,
You are now distanced from your limitations.
Once, I saw a man, like a beggar,
Not that he has not but he has been tied,
I was afraid of what his future holds
And what his fate in life will be,
But now that I see him, I know that the tides turn,
And it's finally a time to smile.
You are not only ranked a survivor but also a warrior,
Reveal those set of teeth, smile widely.
You have earned the price of them that lived
Through fire and rivers and waters,
You have earned the price of them that are now revered,
They had once been severed in life.
Finally, it's a time to smile,
Smile through the tears,
Smile through the fears,
Smile to your breakthrough,
You have paid your dues to life
And now, you deserve to smile.
