Hey guys, suddenly a flood of inspiration caused me to write this poem right here tonight; its about my life experience especially how I resigned from my pet shop job last year, left to work at other places only to realised the grass is not greener at the other side, and after one year that pet shop called me back to work for them because they needed me but this time I returned wiser and armed with "the power of negotiations".
In a world of wits and clout, she stood,
A decade’s work, yet little good.
The years slipped by, with scant reward,
Her value unseen, her spirit gnawed.
So she took a leap, spread her wings,
Ventured forth to see what the world brings.
But the grass was not greener, in those distant spaces,
No place quite like those familiar workplace graces.
A year passed, her old company sought,
Her talents beckoning, memories caught.
This time was different, she was no pawn,
Armed with knowledge, experience drawn.
Negotiations began, a dance of power,
She sought what eluded, for many an hour.
More money, less time, benefits all anew,
With skillful words, her demands she drew.
Now she stands, a master of this art,
Her worth recognized, a fresh new start.
The power of negotiations, a lesson learned,
In the dance of give and take, rewards earned.
In realms of bargaining, she found her might,
Turning the tables, balancing the fight.
The old company agreed to her plea,
A testament to the power of negotiations, you see.
With wisdom and wit, she paved her way,
Crafting a future where she'd have her say.
No longer unseen, her value known,
In the grand arena of business, her throne.
