My CPU sings
zero and one algorithms -
I type to the beat.
When I saw this picture it immediately made me think of how humans have evolved to interface with tech in the age of the microchip. If you think about it, all those cyberpunk movies that posit the idea of technological human augmentation and AI synthesis are looking quite prophetic right now. This Haiku reflects my ambivalence in how this evolution is going.
Is the general population's analytical capacity being watered down through increasing reliance on technology? I think it's a valid question in this day and age where a large proportion of people get their news from social media. Or, do you think that our instant access to the internet, through our phones, is increasing the human capacity for analytical research?
To be honest, I think it is a question of quantity over quality. We now have a whole world of information at our fingertips… but that definitely includes a few countries worth of misinformation 😂
