paper-plate faces
follow me.
I paint on features -
creatures of my creation.
Red dead lips that kiss,
and tickle my
S
t
e
m
Whittling this type-set,
resetting to recreate
films lost in the grain,
burnt in the flames
of superman's curse
or any other
myth,
adrift,
dispersed.
Whistling alarms
swing tremolo arms
of atmospheric
PRESSURE.
Spinning me more
than dead red lips,
white paper faces,
or any synthetic
caricature.
