Over the hill, there was a Dale.
A fine-looking man, some say.
Many a woman tried courting young Dale
Many women left brokenhearted.
Fathers came to call.
Dale skedaddled before he was harmed.
To start all over again.
Over the hill, Dale went.
He wasn't a picky man.
He just wanted to fall in love.
A strange concept in times of hills and dales.
A more determined man than there ever was.
Up and down Dale went.
Searching for the love of his life.
Finally, Dale ran out of dales to run.
He had a look about.
Before him stood a lady,
Daisy, seven feet in all.
Dale fell madly in love.
Her pale green skin shone brightly.
Dale weakened in his knees.
Gazing up at his true love.
Dale popped the question for all to see.
Daisy leaned down.
Took a whiff.
And had a scrumptious stew that night.
