Hi the cool friends. As I said in my previous post, our village is in the hills. From the top of the hill we can see the waters of the Malacca Strait.
For the villagers near the beach, the sea is their best friend, just like the rice fields and fields are for us. For us, the sea is a mystery. We don't understand ripples and waves other than beautiful and great for swimming.
For fishermen in coastal villages, ripples and waves are fish for a living. For us, we buy fish from traders in the market. We did not understand the sea, even though it was only about two kilometers from us.
The hill closest to the beach in Lhokseumawe City is a coral hill. It's to the north and east of our village, Paloh Dayah. There were several barren hilltops, only overgrown with weeds and a few comfortable trees growing on the rocky ground. Among the barren hills there were no houses, but on the nearby hills many were built.
Like in our village, the people around the village also have hills, apart from rocky hills, they also build houses between the hills. No one made a home on that hilltop. There's no water there and we don't have the technology to pull water up the hill.
If the Arabian Desert were as Green as Sumatra
O, sea,
I want to tell you anything
but I don't understand your preferred season and wind direction
So, I'm talking to the trees in this field
I understand them
The season here is only dry and rainy
The rain feeds the trees
When the drought comes
hence the storage of water in the soil and tree roots
with the night dew, enough for them to survive
Undoubtedly our forests in Sumatra will be eternal
although the wood continues to be taken
all plants will grow back
What if we planted all the deserts in the world
they would be forests like in the equatorial tropics
If the Arabian desert was as green as Sumatra
If the Sahara Desert were as green as Borneo
If Gobi Desert, American Desert, Australian Desert
Everything is as green as the forests of the Amazon and Sumatra
how cold the earth is
My friends and I are here, dreaming
We're trying
how can we make desert into wilderness
so that our earth is fresher
Earth is still wide
There is still a chance to restore the earth
We can direct resources to restore the earth
instead of turning attention to other planets
by making technology to destroy the earth
Earth has proven itself
as our hospitable and beautiful habitat
why destroy the earth to look elsewhere
which will never be suitable for humans
can never be compared with the earth.
Thank you
