50% Tempranillo and 50% Garnacha, two classic grapes from Spain's Rioja region make up this blend. Aged only 4 monthes in French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels, this wine is built to really let the organically farmed fruit do the talking.
The bright acidity and juicy notes, even after some years in bottle, really makes this food friendly and approachable. Ruby red in colour, barely showing any signs of age yet. Under natural cork closure.

Nose: Light - Medium
Black berry and cherry, dark chocolate orange and black tea.
Palate: Medium +
Light bodied with some grippy almost black tea like tannins coat the mouth. The high acidity brings a mouthwatering effect. Notes of dried leather with stewed cherries and blackberries. Hints of pepper spice mid palate.
Showing signs of oxidation on the palate and some tired dried red fruits. Probably better to have drank a year ago...

Vendimia, translated to the vintage or harvest, this wine is meant to be young and easy compared to the bolder, longer aged counter parts of Rioja, Reserva and Gran Reserva.
Cheers!
