Hi Bayanihive community👋 how are you all doing! You know what’s actually amazing? Hitting up a strawberry farm like the one in that pic especially up in Baguio or La Trinidad. It’s not some super fancy tourist spot but wow the vibe and the view are just chef’s kiss!
When you walk into that tunnel greenhouse thing it’s like stepping into a whole different world. The light coming through the plastic roof is so soft and warm making all those bright green strawberry leaves look even fresher.
Rows and rows of those elevated planters line up on both sides looks like little green highways leading to the end of the tunnel. Yeah the ground’s a bit muddy sometimes but honestly? That just adds to the whole “real farm” feel plus you get that earthy smell that you just can’t get anywhere else in the city..
And don’t even get me started on when the berries are ready! Those tiny red gems peeking out from all the green it’s like the plants are showing off their little treasures.
You’ll see families laughing and picking their own strawberries kids getting a little messy (which is the best part!) and even couples just wandering around taking photos because every corner looks good enough to post.
The cool Baguio air just makes everything better too no sweating buckets like you would down in Manila.
You can take your time walking around maybe chat with the farmers who will tell you all about how they take care of the plants. They are always so proud of what they grow and you can really feel that love when you are there.
It’s not just about seeing pretty things either it’s about feeling good. There’s something so calming about being surrounded by all that life knowing that what you are looking at is food that people worked hard to grow.
By the time you leave you have probably got a box of fresh strawberries in your hand and a big smile on your face. Trust me once you go you will want to come back again and again!
