Here in our place there is this river nearby that we really love going to. It’s not that far from our house and it is very easy and cheap to get there. For such a small cost we can already go there swim and enjoy the whole day. It’s honestly the best deal ever especially now that the weather is extremely hot here..
These past days the sun is shining so hard and it feels like everything is burning. Even just staying inside the house feels hot and sticky already. That’s why it’s just right and necessary for us to go and cool down even just once in a while to feel refreshed again.
Whenever the heat gets too much to handle and we have free time we immediately decide to head there. We just ride a tricycle or jeepney and in a few minutes we are already there. It is so accessible and close that we can go anytime we want..
The place is really nice surrounded by lots of tall trees and green plants so even if it’s noon time and the sun is bright there is still plenty of shade everywhere. The moment we arrive you can already feel the cool breeze totally different from the hot and dusty roads in our vilage. It instantly makes us feel relaxed and happy.
The water there is so clear clean and cold. It feels amazing! The second you dip your feet or jump into the water all the tiredness and heat you felt earlier just disappear. It’s like the cold water washes away everything bad..
We love swimming wading around or just sitting on the big smooth rocks while letting the water flow over our legs and feet. It is so peaceful and quiet there too. You will only hear the sound of the water flowingl birds chirping and leaves moving with the wind. It’s such a calm and happy feeling..
We see a lot of other people going there too families bringing food to cook groups of friends laughing and talking and kids running around enjoying themselves. Everyone is having a good time because it is very affordable and easy to visit. Even students or people with a small budget can easily go there since it does not cost much to travel.
We really are lucky to have a place like this nearby. We don’t need to spend a lot of money or travel far just to have fun and cool off. Whenever the heat becomes unbearable we know exactly where to go. Our simple river with its cold water and fresh air is truly our favorite escape from this hot weather.
