Today wasn't extraordinary.
But it was full of moments.
These are the ordinary snapshots that make up our simple, imperfect life.

Our Cat Hunter Joining Us Upstairs
We went upstairs to enjoy the sunlight. As always, our cat Hunter followed us. When we were about to go down, there was this tiny purple flower that caught my eye. It looked like a wild one, small, yet beautiful. And I thought, "This is worth capturing." But just as I focused the camera, someone else decided to take the spotlight. There was Hunter, suddenly in front of me, like he was saying, "No. Not the flower. Me!" And just like that, I didn't capture the flower, or I did, but with his presence. 🙃

Bowtie As Headband
Aiden found his Daddy's bowtie. And he started playing with it. Twisting it around, exploring it. Then his Daddy suddenly had a fun idea. Since we don't have a baby girl, Aiden became our little model for the headband. At first, he actually liked it. He stayed still for a moment and even smiled when we told him how beautiful he looked. He seemed proud for a few seconds. 😂 But as I captured the moment, his facial expression became annoyed.

Pork Nilaga
Today we didn't cook lunch. My father-in-law told us they would share their pork nilaga. They cooked a lot.

Shoveling To Bury Our Chicken
In the afternoon, I shovel and dig to bury our chicken. It wasn't something I expected to do. But my hubby couldn't do it, as he's still recovering from his fever. I won't lie, it made me sad. Losing our chicken felt heavier than I thought it would. But, it's part of living. It wasn't easy, but I did it.

So that's it.
Nothing about today was grand.
But ordinary days like this quietly shape who we are.
Until my next everyday snapshots...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
