"It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy that makes HAPPINESS" - Charles Spurgeon
Hello everyone!
Just checking in 😊
I didn't post for a while here because of some health issues.
Since I'm better now, I'll try to post more every day again.
Today is my daughter's school card day.
She and my husband went to school early this morning, so I was home alone.
I got up at 9 am and ate breakfast.
I went out to the porch and watered my potted flowers.
I did a few more house chores, and then I lay down on the hammock under the avocado tree.
It was sunny, and I could see the sun peeking through the leaves.
I can feel a soft breeze.
We covered the hammock with a sunshade net to filter the sun rays.
It was a nice resting spot.
A few minutes passed, and I didn't notice I had fallen asleep.
I woke up when I heard someone calling my name.
It was my daughter with a box of donuts. 😊
She told me that she remembered me craving donuts when I was sick. And now that I am well, she thought I could have some. 😋
Such a thoughtful kiddo.
Now, I'm still enjoying a few more bites of my donuts under the avocado tree. 🍩😋
