A first glance at BeeChat integrated into PeakD

Just in time for HiveFest, this little icon appeared yesterday...

For me at least, the icon was D.O.A. It did nothing. I thought this may have been a browser issue (I was using Brave with shields up). I tried on Chrome...nothing. Firefox...nothing.

I imagine this will be fixed very quickly by the PeakD team. If, in fact, it's not a PEBCAK situation on my part.

But, that's okay. I'd read the Hive account@peakd post from yesterday that the system was made by the hive-engine team. The initial BeeChat announcement by Hive account@aggroed is here. Yesterday's PeakD post said the integrated chat is at https://peakd.com/chat. Apparently, this is where the little chat icon should have taken me. I went there and it looked like this:

So, I tried it out. Here's my real-time first chat where I say it's my first BeeChat chat...

I futzed with the editing software to add words, then returned to the screen. The response to mine read, "Finally!!! After 5 years. :)"

Wait, what?

This has been here five years and I just now noticed it? I was suddenly feeling pretty dumb.

Oh, wait. Hive account@stayoutoftherz was responding to the comment above mine. Whew.
